This facilitator is a public-school teacher who has been released full time from their classroom assignment to work with BYU teacher candidates at all levels of their practicum participation, from the first cohort experience to their final internship or student teaching.

A curriculum and instruction specialist, also called an instructional coordinator, is an administrator who works on developing and improving curricula and assessing the effectiveness of curricula and instruction. Instruction specialists also give guidance to teachers on their teaching methods.

The Team Lead is a highly effective teacher who leads a team of teachers (aligned by grade level, content area, or other relevant grouping based on school need) in developing their ability to effectively deliver instruction and increase student outcomes.

Continuing on to the doctoral level in education related fields may lead to employment as teacher educators in higher education or as professional consultants to schools and education focused businesses.
